Trainer, successful entrepreneur and best-selling author.

 

In 1999 he set up the Romanian office of TMI, an international training consultancy established in 1975 in Denmark, with offices in 45 countries worldwide. TMI Romania was twice awarded the “Training Company of the Year”.

 

In 2004 he co-founded Qualians, as a business conferences company, hosting Philip Kotler in 2005 and then Jack Welch in 2008 in the largest business conferences in Romania to that date.

 

After setting up new international know-how partnerships for leadership development, sales, assessments and business simulations, the company activities have all been moved in 2015 to operate under the Qualians umbrella.

 

Octavian Pantiș holds a bachelor degree in International Business and has attended a number of post-graduate studies on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He also holds a certification from TMI to run international consulting and training projects.

 

He was named “Trainer of the Year”, “Best Speaker” and in 2012 has received a special media award "for the high standards and passion brought to the training industry". Before becoming a trainer, he gained significant experience in FMCG and Advertising.

 

A growing number of Octavian's sessions are for international management teams, in Romania and abroad. He also works as a coach for a selected group of leaders.

 

Since March 2020 Octavian has run numerous online sessions - speeches, facilitated workshops, training - on various platforms, with audience sizes ranging from 5 to 500 people. 

Octavian published 4 audiobooks, on Time Management, Practical Leadership, Change Management and Communication Skills, all of them becoming bestsellers and practically pioneering a new category of audiobooks on the Romanian market.

 

His book Musai List – on productivity and work/life balance – is a bestseller and enjoys great feedback from the readers. He currently prepares a revised edition that discusses the future of work and helps people navigate their career environments in the current times influenced by covid-19.

 

Octavian Pantis and Captain Emil Dobrovolschi co-authored a bestselling book on Leadership and Professional Effectiveness:  "Dark Cockpit - How to Communicate, Lead and Be in Control at All Times. Like an Airline Captain” - discover the book in Romanian and in English. The book taps into the tremendous treasure of know-how in commercial aviation and provides actionable advice for entrepreneurs, leaders and other professionals who want to grow.

 

Octavian’s latest book is Making Change Stick - The Practical Guide for Conquering Personal Change Management, which presents a blueprint for how to handle change at an individual level.

 

Octavian Pantis is a member of the USA National Speakers Association. He is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst (CPBA) and a Certified Professional Values Analyst (CPVA) by TTI Success Insights International.

 

His time outside work is dedicated to family.
