Cand sustinem prezentari, trebuie sa fim atenti ce cuvinte si expresii folosim. Va prezint mai jos cateva perle auzite in cadrul unor conferinte. Ele apartin unor persoane respectabile, de obicei top manageri sau antreprenori de succes.

1. „As vrea sa va explic astazi…”

Cand spui „sa va explic” te pozitionezi mai presus decat audienta. Tu esti profesorul iar ei elevii. Tu esti cel istet iar ei sunt cei care pricep greu. In unele cazuri e acceptabila abordarea: daca esti Neagu Djuvara si ne vorbesti despre originile unor domnitori romani; daca esti Zubin Mehta si ne spui la ce sa fim atenti in piesa urmatoare; daca esti cu doua, trei ordine de marime peste ceilalti, atunci e in regula. Dar daca se intampla ca tu sa fii in fata si alti oameni cam ca tine sa stea in scaune, atunci „sa va explic” ne cam zgaraie urechile.
